Description

To kick off the tour, we’ll all have a toast to an awesome day together, doing it the Japanese style, with a drink in hand. Let’s explore one of the most popular areas in Yokohama, China Town, which is the largest in Japan! This vibrant section of town displays a lot of Chinese influenced stores and restaurants due to the settlement of Chinese traders when Yokohama’s port first was opened to foreign trade. There are so many delicious street food stalls, interesting spots and a historical temple here for us to check out, so we’ll spend a bit of time here to allow the group to explore and grab some food.

As we stroll along the harbour and coastline, we will arrive at Red Brick Warehouse, which is a historical building now used as a complex for shopping, food and other events. We will have a look around the creative and Japanese souvenir stores inside the unique warehouse. Depending on the day, different events are held here, along with many arts and craft pop stores. Around the area, there is the cup noodle museum, amusement parks, shopping malls and more for us to check out! As we explore this famous landmark of Yokohama, we will fill you in on the history attached to the building and answer any questions you may have.

As night falls, we can head towards the local area, where we will visit two to three bars/club in total. I guarantee discounts and/or freebies (free shots or free drinks) at every spot so you won’t have to break the bank for this night out.

Most bars that we visit will have delicious food options, so if you’re feeling peckish or looking for a late dinner, have no fear.

Be ready to meet other travellers and have fun with everyone!
